Terms & Conditions
Last updated β 6 August 2026
These terms cover registering for Altruixx 2K26 and taking part on the day. Registration takes money from external teams before a person has checked the transfer, so the parts that deal with seats, payment and refunds are written plainly and are meant to be relied on.
01Acceptance
Registering for Altruixx 2K26, or using this website, means you accept these terms and agree to follow the instructions of the organising team on the day.
If you are registering a team, you confirm that every member has agreed to take part and to their details being submitted here.
02Eligibility and team size
Altruixx 2K26 is open to students currently enrolled in a recognised college or university. A team has between 2 and 4 members and may enter at most 2 events. One account registers one team β sign in with the address you want the confirmation sent to.
Internal teams are students of SRM Valliammai Engineering College and register with their register numbers. External teams are everyone else.
Details you enter must be accurate. A register number can only appear on one team; if it is already registered, the form will say so at the point you enter it. Wrong or invented details found at the desk on the day may cost the whole team its place.
03Fees
External teams pay βΉ200 per member β βΉ400, βΉ600 or βΉ800 for a team of two, three or four. Internal teams pay nothing and are confirmed the moment they submit.
The amount is worked out by us from the number of members you register. Payment is made as a direct bank transfer to the college account shown on the payment step; you then upload the screenshot your banking app gives you.
Seats are limited to 100 external and 50 internal participants. When a category fills, the form says so and stops accepting teams in it.
04The seat hold
π Submitting the form holds your team's seats for 45 minutes so that you can make the transfer without racing anyone. The countdown is shown on the payment page.
If the 45 minutes pass before you upload your proof of payment, the hold ends and the seats go back to everyone else. Nothing has been charged by us at that point, and nothing is lost except the hold β you can claim the seats again if any are still free. If the category has filled in the meantime, we will say so rather than take a payment for a seat that no longer exists.
Do not transfer money after your hold has expired without claiming the seats again first.
05Confirmation and verification
Uploading your payment screenshot puts your registration under review. An organiser checks it, and you receive a confirmation email with your booking pass once it is approved. Until then your registration is not confirmed.
A screenshot is not proof that money arrived β it is a picture. We therefore ask every external team lead at the check-in desk to open their banking app and show the transaction. Bring the phone you paid from.
The same transaction reference cannot be used twice, and the same screenshot cannot be submitted for two teams. If your payment cannot be verified we will ask you for a clearer proof before rejecting anything.
06Refunds
Registration fees are not refundable once a registration has been verified, except where Altruixx 2K26 or a specific event is cancelled by the organisers.
β οΈ Where a refund is due, please understand what we can and cannot do. The organising team does not hold or control the college bank account. We raise the refund as a request to the college administration with your transaction reference, and the administration issues it. That process is outside our hands and can take several weeks. We will tell you when the request has been raised and will chase it, but we cannot promise a date.
If your payment is rejected as unverifiable, your seats are released immediately and you may register again. If money did in fact leave your account in that case, contact us with the transaction reference and we will raise it as above.
07Registration is not transferable
A registration belongs to the team that made it. It cannot be sold, given away, or passed to another team or another student, and a booking pass presented by anyone other than the registered team will not be accepted at the desk.
Member names cannot be swapped after a registration is verified. If a teammate genuinely cannot attend, speak to a coordinator before the day rather than sending a substitute.
08If an event is cancelled or changed
Timings, venues, round formats and judging panels may change, and the version published on this site is the current one. We will email the team lead about any change that affects an event you are entered in.
If a single event is cancelled, teams registered for it may move to another event with seats free, or ask for a refund of the fee under the section above. If the whole symposium is cancelled, every verified registration is refunded on the same basis.
The symposium may be postponed for reasons outside our control. A postponed event is not a cancelled one; registrations carry over to the new date, and a team that cannot attend it may ask for a refund.
09Conduct on the day
Follow each event's rules, the decisions of its judges, and the directions of the organising team and volunteers. Judges' decisions are final.
Plagiarism, impersonating another student, sharing an unfair advantage between teams, or abusive behaviour towards participants, volunteers or staff will disqualify a team. A disqualified team is not refunded.
You are responsible for your own belongings and equipment on campus.
10Your work and your name
Work you produce during the symposium β code, abstracts, designs, presentations β remains yours. Submitting an abstract to INNOVIX gives us permission to read and evaluate it for that event only.
Photographs and video are taken at the event and may be used by the department to publicise future editions. If you would rather not appear in them, tell a coordinator on the day and write to us afterwards and we will remove you from anything we control.
The Altruixx name, branding and the content of this website belong to the department and may not be reused without permission.
11Liability
The event and this website are provided as they are. To the extent the law permits, the organisers, the department and the college are not liable for indirect loss arising from taking part or from using this site.
Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian law, including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
12Questions and changes
Anything unclear, or anything on this page that does not match what the registration form actually does, should go to contact@altruixx2k26.app. Tell us β a mismatch between this page and the form is a mistake on our side.
These terms may be updated. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top moves whenever it changes.
